About Littlefoot Tree Service

Established in 2025, Littlefoot is starting out strong. Trained on-site through apprenticeships in Bridle Path, Rosedale, Forest Hill, Lawrence Park, Hoggs Hollow, and beyond by Toronto’s top trusted private companies, our arborists are officially certified and known to be specialists in their field. Although we’re a full-service company, Littlefoot is known for elevated ornamental pruning, customer consideration, and dedication to environmental preservation. No job is too big or too small for Littlefoot.

Littlefoot is owned and operated by Lead Climbing Arborist Natalie Schaefer, and we aim to keep our clients experiences as personal as possible. Schaefer is your tree stylist and horticultural consultant, Littlefoot is a collection of her services and other supporting skilled specialists when more hands are needed. She would love to collaborate with your landscape designer, architect, or gardener.

The name Littlefoot reflects our guiding philosophy: to tread lightly. From reducing emissions to minimizing noise for clients who work from home, every decision we make is rooted in care, consideration, and environmental responsibility. We reuse and repurpose as much as possible, providing wood for local artisans, and chipping discarded brush offsite for garden pathway mulch.

Our name also pays homage to The Land Before Time (1988), where “Littlefoot,” a young dinosaur, embarks on a journey in search of the last remaining trees; a reminder that trees are among the oldest and most essential pillars of our world.
